Multiplication and Division strategies such as:
- skip counting
- repeated addition
- part/whole strategies
- halving and doubling
Reading
We are working on identifying the main idea of the story and it's supporting facts. We are also working on identifying synonyms (words that mean the same thing) and antonyms (opposites)
Jasmine: Word attack skills.

Writing
We will continue working on character descriptions.
Inquiry
This week we will complete one more fizzing experiment. We have learnt that if you mix a carbonate and an acid you will get carbon dioxide. We will complete our first ooze and slime experiment.
Reminders:
- This week we begin our run, jump, throw athletics unit. Please ensure your child has their sneakers on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Soccer on Friday - remember team uniforms!
- Camp notices must come back. We desperately need to know how many beds to book. This is now URGENT!
