Week 11, Term 2

Yay we have made it to the end of term 2!

There will be no homework this week, however it is important that children continue reading every night.  It is also a good time to revise spelling words that the children have had trouble learning.

Holiday Activities
  • Use Study ladder to consolidate skills that have been taught this year in maths.
  • Read Lexile books and complete quizzes on the Lexile website.
  • Use some of the websites listed down the side of this blog.
  • Keep a diary of holiday activities.
  • Play family games like Scrabble, Monopoly, Boggle and Bingo.
  • Write letters or emails to family members.
  • Have your child write the family grocery list as you call out items.
  • Take a trip to the local library.
There was a large number of un-named clothing taken to the office last Friday from our cloakbay.  Please take some time over the holidays to ensure your child's school uniform is named, along with their jackets, hats, scarves, gloves etc.

There will be no soccer this Friday as teachers have lots to do in their rooms to get them tidy for the holidays!

Heavenly is our MVP this week.
